Science geek here again. This time I’m considering the mind, brain generally, and our perceptions of what we perceive as reality. I’m of an opinion that though everyone might see the same thing, how each individual perceives what he sees are as different as night and day.

What Happiness Is
I read a New York Times article that delve into happiness. It’s not just something obscure or esoteric, but something tangible that gives all of us a feeling of importance. But then the question remains, what is happiness?
Solitude
Noise is harmful to our collective health and like many, I become more agitated and stressed by noise, even ambient white noise that we all too readily tune out, thinking we are in a quiet place. As I have gotten older, I come to realize I don’t need that noise in my life anymore.
